One of my favourite fruits is Pineapple, it makes for an incredible snack or perfect dessert. I love a good pineapple upside down cake, pineapple sorbet and I have made some incredibly homemade pineapple wine. What is a Pineapple Corer?
A Pineapple Corer or otherwise known as a pineapple slicer is basically a kitchen tool that you use to like an apple corer to remove the centre of the pineapple. The centre piece is typically very hard and is therefore not edible, however many pineapple slicers will also remove the skin from around the pineapple as well.
These corers are typically very precise, and one of the biggest advantages is all of the excess pineapple juice is left at the bottom of the pineapple when you remove the fruit away from the skin.

Pineapple Corers are very simple to use, and most of them work in the same way. To start you need to cut the top part of the pineapple, so the yellow pineapple fruit is showing.
