How to cook ribeye steak

Learn how to cook ribeye steak, its is incredibly simple to make the most perfect, juicy ribeye steak. It just takes  a little planning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Ribeye Steak
  • Knob of butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Few Sprigs of Rosemary
  • 2 Crushed Garlic Cloves

Instructions

  • Remove ribeye steak from fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking
  • Season steak on both sides with salt and pepper
  • Heat dry pan until hot 
  • Put in the steak and cook for 4 minutes
  • Flip steak and add the butter, garlic and rosemary 
  • Continue to baste the steak with the butter for 3 minutes
  • Check doneness with finger test
  • When done to your liking remove from pan and allow to rest for at least 10 minutes
  • Serve with your favourite sauce and sides
  • Enjoy!
